TRANSPORT:
Citytrain: the BCEC has a train stop on-site providing fast and direct access to the centre. There are two train stations within a five minute walk. South Bank Station accessed from Tribune Street and South Brisbane Railway Station adjacent to the Convention Centre in Grey Street.
River Ferries: 3 minutes to the ferry terminal stopping at key hotels and tourist attractions. CityCats and CityFerries let you commute from 5.50am - 10.30pm daily.
Buses: Bus stop within walking distance. A free city loop bus service circles Brisbane's Central Business District including South Bank. Buses run every 10 minutes along two routes around the city. South Bank is serviced by two bus stations: The Cultural Centre Station on Melbourne Street and the South Bank Busway Station on the corner of Colchester and Tribune Streets, South Bank.

This tour operates every night and departs 6.30pm for 3 hours. Pick-ups are between 5.45pm and 6.30pm from most Brisbane City Hotels. The tour takes in the trendy dining and nightlife precinct of Caxton Street, the historical heart of Queensland Rugby League - Suncorp Stadium. You then go past Government House before enjoying a panoramic view of Brisbane from Mt Coot-Tha lookout. Your journey then takes you along Park Road to view Brisbane's very own miniature Eiffel Tower before enjoying an evening stroll through South Bank. A CityCat will then take you for a cruise along the Brisbane River. Next stop is the home of "The Gabba" Cricket Ground and AFL. You'll make your way back to your Hotel via the City Lookout at Kangaroo Point which gives you stunning views of the City and the Brisbane River, a trip over the majestic structure of the Story Bridge with a quick trip through Chinatown and Fortitufe Valley before being dropped off at your City Hotel.
